Church of the Ascension Hall

The Ascension Friends

A club for retired people of any age. It is run by members of the church for everyone in the local community and is open to all. Our average monthly attendance is currently 35. but we are keen to welcome more - so why not come along to one of our meetings and see whether it is for you.

We meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 2.00pm in the Ascension Church Hall and we have visiting speakers who talk on various topics of interest. The talks are always followed by a delicious tea, with sandwiches, quiches and home-made cakes, for which we charge £1. Transport is available.
