(aka Rev Kev)

Born in Moss Side, Manchester in 1951. Married to Isabell in 1978, they have 3 daughters, Claire, Ruth & Anna.

Kevin admits to being a young inner city thug before becoming a Christian through Children's Christian Crusade in 1965, having left school in 1964 where he had been the only boy in a girl's cookery class. Even then he was a real handfull!

From there he went straight into catering at the Midland Hotel in Manchester. Was subsequently involved in outreach to the local 'undesirables' in the 'Catacombes Club' in Manchester. Kevin subsequently went to Cliff College in 1973 where he gained a diploma in biblical studies and evangelism. Then back into the hotel and catering industry until 1981 when Kevin went to Oakhill Theological college in North London.

Over the last 25 years, Kevin has served in Manchester, Guildford, Hereford & Madley and in Her Majesty's Forces as a chaplain where he served in Kenya, Canada & Bosnia, following which he returned to the U.K. and served in the Diocese of Oxford for 7 years in Milton Keynes.

His social activities & interests include listening to brass band & classical music. Other interest are cooking, all kinds of sport (both participating & watching) and last, but not least, re-building the church (literally in the case of the St Mary's project) and spreading the Good News of the Gospel wherever and whenever he can.
